We believe hedge funds offer superior risk-adjusted returns relative to traditional investments. Hedge fund managers can use a vast array of investment tools such as the ability to "short" securites, use derivative instruments and apply financial leverage to generate absolute returns in various market environments. An incentive-based compensation structure attracts the most talented managers to the industry and encourages them to focus on investment performance rather than asset gathering.

Our objective is to provide investors with consistent risk-adjusted returns on capital by identifying, selecting, and monitoring a select group of the most skilled hedge fund managers.  We believe consistent risk-adjusted returns can be achieved by combining "niche" hedge fund managers with limited investment capacity in multi-manager portfolios that exhibit low correlation to the traditional equity and fixed income markets.
